Alpaca Breeders of the Rockies (ABR) is hosting a double alpaca show
The Great Western Alpaca Show and
The Rocky Mountain Alpaca Showdown
at the Event Center at Archer, 3801 Archer Parkway, Cheyenne, WY
on May 1-5, 2024
We will need multiple volunteers daily for either full (0730 to 1730) or half day (0730-1330 or 1130-1730) participation slots. Full day volunteers will be provided with lunch vouchers.
The Volunteer positions needed are listed below:
Suri alpaca ring (4 people)/Huacaya alpaca ring (4 people) Performance/Obstacle (6 people) May 4th half day/am -
May 5th half day/afternoon
Walking Fleece set up (2 people) May 1st only
Gate Keepers (4 people), Ring Steward (4 people)
Hospitality/Show Check-in (4 people per day) May 3-5
Veterinarian Check (4 people) May 2nd only
Ribbons/Banners (2 people) May 2nd only
Show Central (2 people) May 3-5
Show Runner (1 person) May 3-5
Arena Set up and Tear down (8 people) May 1st & May 5th only
Show ring handler (4 people) Must have experience May 3-5
