2^nd Annual AOA certified Alpaca Halter, Fleece & Youth Performance Show

The indoor arena buzzes with excitement as the spotlight turns to the alpaca showcase. Beneath a canopy of colorful banners and warm lighting, youth and adult exhibitors dressed in crisp show attire and glowing with pride will lead their alpacas into the ring. The Suri and Huacaya stately and easy-going move gracefully across the dirt covered arena, their fleece lustrous under the lights. 

Judges observe with keen eyes, noting conformation and presentation, while the crowd cheers from the stands. Families, ranchers, and visitors from across the country lean forward, captivated by the blend of tradition, skill, and enthusiasm from exhibitors. The air is filled with laughter, encouragement, and the unmistakable sense of community. This is more than a competition—it's a celebration of dedication, heritage, and the future of alpaca excellence.

Vet Check-in: Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 10 am  

Halter & Fleece Show: Friday, January 23, 2026 at 10am  

Fleece & Performance Show: Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 9am 

Featuring 

• AOA certified Fleece Show. Fleece can either be brought in on Thursday, January 22, 2026 or mailed to DJ Riedel at 12263 S. Wamblee Valley Road, Conifer, CO 80433 to arrive by January 19, 2026.

• Beautiful alpacas from across the nation 

• Youth exhibitors showcasing skill and pride from across the nation 

• Warm indoor arena with festive banners and cheering crowds

• Crystal Boot Award is making a comeback!! To qualify for the Crystal Boot Awards, you need to have 2 Halter Entries and 2 Fleece Entries (either on or off the animal) at both NWSS and at GWAS in May 2026. 

Register for NWSS Show - early bird registration closes November 20, 2025. Regular registration is from November 21, 2025 to December 10, 2025.
